New project! I'm going to be doing KOKIA's lyrics in order of when they were released, so in theory you can see how they've evolved. Also, to do this new project, I'm moving this whole shebang over to kokialyric . I'll still keep this site updated (hopefully) with more random Japanese stuff that's a little more silly. I also finally bought a domain, so I'm going to be doing a big big big ambitious Kokia site some time in the near future, because I love her so dearly. Maybe if she sees how much I love her, one day she'll sing at my wedding XD.

Yeah, yeah, you guys all heard this song a million years ago and already looked up the lyrics, but it has a lot of personal significance for me. This was the MAJOR hit last summer when I was in Japan, and there were a couple of lines in there that really spoke to me about my particular (*cough*romantic*cough*) situation while I was there, but I had never read the whole song, and now that I have, after said intrigue has ended, it's like hidden rooms were revealed that showed what I didn't see before. Kamio Youko, author of "Hana Yori Dango," is going to be writing a boys' manga for the first time, appearing in Jump Square! It's called "Matsuri Special" (Festival Special), and I found a cute little movie about it on youtube where she's talking to her editor about doing boys' manga for the first time. I laughed, so I thought I'd share it with you all.

This has turned into more of a Kokia community (haha). Oh well, I love her songs so dearly, and it's so often hard to find her lyrics, so I'm happy to see it happen. To the Kokia fans out there, another sweetly naturalistic and romantic song with just a touch of melancholy, Sora.
